2nd Filipino Reader Conference - August 18

So on Saturday, I will be hanging out with cool people (readers), talking about cool things (books), and spending some time in a place that is close to my heart (where I got married*).

Hope you can all make it to the Filipino ReaderCon on Saturday, August 18, at the Filipinas Heritage Library. I'm part of one of the sessions. Go register now so you don't lose your slot. :)

*Yes, I got married in a former air traffic control tower/now library. It's a cool thing to do. Everyone should try it!

  1. Hi, Ms. Mina!

I was in the ReaderCon yesterday and even asked for a pic with you :) I enjoyed your talk and it made me wanna rush to the bookstore to buy your books. I already bought No Strings Attached and That Kind of Guy from the NBS nearest our home last night :) How could I buy the other books? I don;t have a credit card that's why I'm quite worried that I may not be able to buy the rest.

I'm just so thrilled to know that I share so many things in common with a published writer.... I gobbled up Sweet Dreams when I was young as well as the Sweet Valley series, and books by Christopher Pike, and R.L. Stine. Just like you, I also wrote stories and short novellas in notebooks but unlike you, I was too shy to show them to anyone else.

It's my dream to be published someday, and you have become an inspiration to me. Thanks, Ms. Mina!
