Yay!
My Imaginary Ex is out now.
Upon quick browsing, I say this: I love what they've done with it. The cover, the little icon-type illustrations inside (I don't know what they're called), the typeface, the paper even.
So far the process of getting a book published has been fun, if a little nerve-wracking. Everyone should try it. :)

Are there people in the book who would make me go, "Kilala ko yata to-its?"
ReplyDeleteNo real people! Though one of the chapters was sort of a story I wrote in college, so maybe there'll be something there, but di sadya.
ReplyDeleteYey!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, anonymous! :)

ReplyDeleteThank you! Hope this starts you on a Summit Book buying spree. :) It's fun! And if you can relate then I hope the whole thing turns out well for you. :)
ReplyDeleteHey great book. I'm not usually that interested in reading romantic stuff but I find your book a nice change from the usual cheesy things I see. This is the first Summit book I read because I needed to make a review of a Filipino written book for my writing class and I love it! I'll be buying other Summit books as well. Congrats...^_^
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bubbles! I hope you enjoy the other books too! And if you feel like sharing the review with me, I won't mind. :)
ReplyDeleteMan, I'm male and I buy chicklit just so I can learn the cadence of language but this book really beats all the books I bought from Summit. I've read this book many times and it's one of those good-feel kilig type of stories that you'd really read until it's all dog-eared. Worth every peso indeed.
ReplyDeleteI'm honored, sir!

Wow. :) I don't really know what to say... thanks for recognizing it though.
ReplyDeleteRiaLyz: Just wanted to say that I got your comment and appreciate what you've shared. Going over it with someone else who has actual authority to do something.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime thank you! Let's see what happens.
